Prof. S. K. Samdarshi

Prof. Samdarshi brings three decades of academic experience in the field of energy education. He has several research national/international publications and patents related to clean energy, hydrogen energy and solar solutions. A well-known scholar of renewable energy ecosystem, power sector reforms and tariff policy. He has domain expertise in developing solar thermal systems and photovoltaic power plant design and installation for diverse geographies.

Dr. Basudev Pradhan

Assistant Professor, Department of Energy Engineering, Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi – 835222.

Member of Indian Science Congress (Life Member), Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (Life Member), Alumni Member of Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) Foundation,

His area of interest in Solar Cells: Perovskite solar cells. Organic Solar Cells, Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells, and Hybrid Solar Cells. Organic Electronics: Organic Memory-Switching device, Organic photodetector, Organic light emitting diode. Nanoscale Electronic Devices: Synthesis and Characterization of various inorganic Nanoparticles, Nanorods, and Nanowires and their use in different electronics and optoelectronic device applications, Gas Sensing, Nano-Rectifier, phototransistors, neuromorphic computers. 2D Materials Research: Use of functionalized Carbon Nanotubes and Graphene in various Electronic and Optoelectronic Device applications, like transparent electrodes, Infrared Sensor, etc.

Prof. D. B. Laata

Prof. Laata has an area of interest in the Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engine. His research is to run the Diesel Engine in dual fuel mode with Hydrogen, LPG, CNG, and Producer gas as secondary fuel. He has academic experience in Heat Transfer, Hydrogen Energy, Nuclear Energy, Hydrogen and Fuel Cell, IC Engines, and Gas Turbine.

Er. P. S. Panja

Assistant Professor, Department of Energy Engineering, Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi – 835222.

Member of Institution of Engineers (India) and Forum for Scientists, Engineers, and Technologists. 

He has worked in the Installation, Fabrication, and Erection of Pipelines of the 63x 2 MW Thermal Power Plant of Durgapur Steel Plant and N.I.T. Durgapur in Heat Power, Metrology, and Hydraulics Laboratories.

Dr. Sachin Kumar

Assistant Professor, Department of Energy Engineering, Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi – 835222.

His areas of interest in Bio-Energy, Pyrolysis of Waste Plastics and Biomass, Alternate Fuels for I.C. Engines, and Catalysis. He has academic experience in Fluid Mechanics, Heat and Mass Transfer, Fuels and Combustion Technology, Energy Management, Bio-Energy Systems, Electrochemical Energy Conversion, Energy, Environment and Climate Change, and Alternative Fuels for Transportation.

Dr. B. M. Jha

Assistant Professor, Department of Energy Engineering, Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi – 835222.

He has an academic experience in Electrical: Circuits and Networks, Field Theory, Control System, Power Electronics and in Electronics: Analog and Digital Electronic Circuits, Microprocessor, Communication System, Digital Signal Processing, Power Electronics, etc.

Dr. Sandip Kr. Gupta

Assistant Professor, Department of Energy Engineering, Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi – 835222.

He has a research interest in Demand Response: Design and modeling of dynamic demand response controllers for load control for voltage and frequency regulation. Automatic Generation Control: Design and modeling the AGC controller considering different market structures. Microgrid: Design and modelling of microgrid model considering different demand response programs and battery energy storage systems.
